When 5G was introduced, the Internet of Things was one of the most anticipated use cases. The previous generation 4G used narrow frequencies that could not transmit data at the speeds necessary for smart devices to function smoothly.

5G will enable automation, enhance the virtual and augmented reality experience, and pave the way for an ecosystem of intelligent life.
